FA Women's Cup
Chinnor are one of only two County League sides remaining in the F.A.Women's Cup after a 3-1 victory over Banbury Utd took them into the Second Round Qualifying for the first time in their history. Chinnor did go behind after just 75 seconds of play but kept themselves in the game with goalkeeper Sarah Madden-Connor in great form. Emily Maule levelled the scores before half time and Chinnor went on to record a superb victory through further strikes from Gemma Rockingham and Nicola Hunt.
This is great to see and hear and just shows what quality players we have amongst our Ladies and up and coming Girls team.
Please pass on our congratualtions from the Committee and the rest of CYFC.
Once again well done and good luck in the next round.

Yes, always. Getting kids involved is the most important thing.
Yes, unless it is an important game.
No. Winning is important at all ages, so the best players should play more often.
