Match Card completions (21/11/2008) |
To All,
Just a reminder to take care when filling the match card presented to you when playing your matches away from home. Be careful when marking the referee, if your mark is 50 or below regardless playing at home or away you have to submit a report to the league within 7 days. Ensure your team code is correct and is written above the opposing team list. It appears however small the error the league will fine the club.
Also please ensure that when palying your home games that you return your match cards to Dave Tapping by 16:00hrs on the day of the match, if unable top comply with this then contact Dave tapping direct and agree a way forward.
Please help us to keep our running costs down as we try to keep our memberships as low as we possibly can.

CYFC Committee Meetings & other Activities (12/04/2007) |
These are normally held on the Second Thursday in each month unless otherwise stated.
These scheduled Committee Meetings... All start at 8:30pm unless otherwise stated.
The committee is always looking for new blood to join the committee or to offer help as a volunteer for seasonal activities, so if you can offer any support in running this very successful club it would be very much appreciated. It is one committee meeting a month and also doubles up as a social event as well so you can still relax and have a fun time.
We really do need your help and support...
Activities that need your support...
Pitch Maintenence - Grass cutting, pitch marking at beginning of each season, 6 aside tournament, plus many other tasks. In most cases it will only take 6-8 hours of your time throughout the year which is a very small price to pay in ensuring your childs future development and enjoyment.

AGM info (18/05/2007) |
The CYFC AGM is normally held in the month of June each year. Once the date is known it will be advertised. The meetings are normally held at the Chinnor Playing Fields Sports & Social Club.
The meeting will start promptly at 8:30pm (20:30 hours).
The AGM is not just an Annual meeting for the committee, it is for you the parents, supporters etc to attend and hopefully help to further shape the future of the club for the benefit of all, however you can only do this if you attend. Team managers should encourage you to attend, so come on let's get this club flourishing even more than what it already is and we'll see you at the AGM.
If you have any general/specific items that you wish to be discussed at this meeting, then please let us know and we will ensure that the subject is discussed, however please ensure you attend yourself otherwise it may not be clear as to your exact concerns and therefore may not get the coverage it deserves.
Please note that if you wish to challenge any existing club rules/regulations/byelaws then you 'MUST' submit a letter outlining your issue by close of play at least 2 weeks before the advertised meeting date. Any such items not received at least 14 days (2 weeks) prior to the advertised date may not be discussed at this AGM. You will need to send this letter by one of 2 routes...

Note : The success of any club is as strong as the support it recieves. It is encumbent upon all of us to give our support to a worthwhile activity and the existence of a football club within any community is something we should all be supporting not only and foremost for our children and their development but also for the friendships and strong community links that this type of club can bring to our lives.
The CYFC to ensure it's survival and continued success needs your help not just at weekend matches but for all the other activities throughout the year which bring in vital funds to ensure that we can provide you with all the modern equipment etc that you require to help you to succeed.
This year some of the committee will be stepping down due to other commitments and have given an enormous amount of their time to move the club forward and into the future, we are therefore looking for fresh new blood onto the committee to bring their ideas and suggestions, even if you can only give 1-2 hours a week then this would be a valuable input to supporting the club. If you cannot or do not wish to sit on the committee but would like to pledge a couple of hours here and there, then please let a committee member know or send your details via the Contact Club link on the left of this screen and someone from the committee will contact you. |
