We played our final game of the season at Chalfont on a beautiful pitch with a fresh but dry day. With just the bare 11 boys available we started much the brighter with lots of chasing and harrying we defied the fact that half the team had been at a sleepover hours before. We broke the deadlock when Daniel Evans shot home from close range after some good work. Our early endeavours were however punished when Chalfont got two quickfire goals against the run of play. It was obvious that Connor Ferguson was unable to continue in goal with an injury, luckily we were given a lad from Chalfont who had a great game in goal for us for the remainder of the match. The second half started with us totally dictating the play searching for the equaliser and with quarter of an hour on the clock it came after a great move fro one end of the pitch to the other for Kieran Munday to slot home. With the game evenly poised chances were being created at both ends and with minutes remaining Chalfont got the winning goal. A superb display again against a team who will being playing Div 1 football next season, as their manager said there was nothing between us in both the games against them. Lewis Wheeler got the man of the match for another good display in defence. Song for the day is "Paradise " by Coldplay.
