Although many of you may know me or have heard about me I thought that this would be a good opportunity to introduce myself to a wider audience.
I am a family man born in the fifties. I was never brought up on football due to my Father being struck down with Polio at the young age of 20 yrs and being disabled as a result. Hence my involvement with Football has only been since my son turned 6 in 2001 where we started in in a Middlesex FC (Headstone Manor), within 6 months I was approached to become a coach and then became assistant Manager until we moved to Chinnor in December 2003. The following July my son joined the then U9’s, I then became Manager of this team the following year and still continue in this role.
I joined the Committee 2 years ago and am responsible for the setting up of the current web-site and as you will discover pushing the rest of Chinnor Youth to also utilise it’s many benefits.
My aims and aspirations are help the Committee in improving facilities and the utilisation of this web-site to share valuable information in a timely manner that will benefit our future as a progressive club.
The Committee both present and past as well as other volunteers (not enough) have dedicated many of their own hours and quality time to the club with no recourse for themselves and to these people I salute them because without them we will not have a club.
I look forward to working with many of you over the coming months via club events, matches, outside challenges etc.
If you need to ask me anything about myself or the web-site then please feel free to contact me via the above.
