I have been a member of Chinnor Youth FC for the past sixteen years and a committee member for fourteen of those wonderful years.
Myself, my wife, and our two boys are Chinnor born and breed.
I am a FA Level One Coach, Emergency First Aider and also a OFA Level 7 Referee.
As Football Secretary my job at Chinnor Youth is mainly pitch maintenance and making sure all our teams have enough training equipment and are kitted out to the very high standard, as we as a club have come to expect over the years.
For the past fourteen years I have had the pleasure of coaching my eldest sons team from the age of 6 and took them all the way through to under 18s where I have been coaching for the past 3 years. My youngest son also started playing with the club at the age of 6 and is currently with our very successful under 16 squad.
If any Parents/Players have any questions about any of our Teams please do not hesitate to contact me and I will help where I can.
I am also very proud to be and have been for the past 5 seasons the Chairman of our 6 a side committee. We as a committee meet in early December to start organising the Boys and Girls tournaments for the following May.
I have seen numerous amounts of changes over the past 16 years of which all have been positive moves to take the club forward to where it is today. With the introduction of the Charter Standard Award and the emergence of the Ladies/Girls football teams, Chinnor Youth FC is a very busy and exciting place to be. I have also had the privilege to work with some wonderful people over the years and I have to extend that to the current crop of hard working committee members.
Also a big thank you to all the Managers and Coaches for there continued hard work.
It shows in the results. Well Done.
I am very proud of what Chinnor Youth FC as achieved over a short period of time and it’s very exciting never knowing what’s around the corner. I like to think I’ve got a few more years of being around this fabulous Football Club.
